Coastline

The coast is of very fine golden sand and the water is crystal clear; wide sloping beaches bordered by a luxuriant pine forest overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Archaeological Park and Museum

Three magnificent Doric temples: Neptune, Hera and Ceres make Paestum one of the largest Greek cities on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in Magna Graecia. Opposite, the National Archaeological Museum completes this marvelous site where it is possible to retrace the history of the Greek, Lucan and Roman city.

Cilento National Park

The Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, is the second largest park in Italy, extending from the Tyrrhenian coast to the foot of the Campania-Lucanian Apennines.
